On Wednesday, Kartik Aaryan announced on Instagram that his upcoming movie, **Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3**, will be released during Diwali. He shared a new poster for the film, captioning it, “Darwaza Khulega… Iss Diwali #BhoolBhulaiyaa3.”
The movie will compete at the box office with **Singham Again**, another major film by Rohit Shetty. The poster references the first **Bhool Bhulaiyaa**, where the spirit of Manjulika is trapped in a room of a palace, and it features Vidya Balan, who originally played Manjulika.
**Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3** continues the horror-comedy franchise that started with Akshay Kumar. This film is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam movie **Manichitrathazhu**, directed by Fazil, who is the father of Malayalam actor Fahadh Fazil. In **Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2**, Kartik took over Akshay’s role and played Rooh Baba. This time, he will be seen opposite **Animal** star Triptii Dimri, and it also features Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit.
Kartik had previously announced that filming had wrapped up. He shared a video of director Anees Bazmee playfully scolding the crew when they celebrated the end of production with a cake-cutting ceremony. The film is produced by T-Series Films and Cine1 Studios and is set to hit theaters this Diwali.
