In tonight’s episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, contestant Chander Parkash will try to answer the jackpot question worth Rs 7 crore. He has already answered 15 questions correctly, winning Rs 1 crore so far. If he succeeds, he will be the first single contestant to achieve this milestone.
Kaun Banega Crorepati, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, is one of India’s favorite game shows, where contestants win money based on their knowledge. The jackpot question this season offers Rs 7 crore, a prize that has never been won by a single contestant.
In a promo released by the show, Chander shares that he has faced physical challenges throughout his life, having undergone seven surgeries. In the last episode, he answered nine questions correctly, earning Rs 1,60,000, and will continue his game from the 10th question, which is worth Rs 3,20,000.
It will be exciting to see if Chander can answer the jackpot question correctly and make history as the first single contestant to win such a large sum.
In previous seasons of KBC, several contestants have made headlines. Harshwardhan Nawathe was the first crorepati, winning Rs 1 crore in the first season. In the fifth season, Sushil Kumar became the first to win Rs 5 crore. The Narula brothers made history in season eight by winning Rs 7 crore together, the only duo to achieve that amount so far.
