After a successful three-day visit to the US, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to hold a rally in Sonipat, Haryana. He is optimistic about the BJP’s chances in the upcoming state assembly elections. The rally will take place in Gohana on Wednesday and aims to attract a large crowd from 22 Assembly constituencies ahead of the elections on October 5.
Organizers are making extensive preparations, including setting up a special aluminum tent and three helipads for the Prime Minister’s arrival. Senior BJP leaders, including Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and local candidates, will join him at the event, which is expected to draw tens of thousands of supporters.
To manage the expected crowds, the local administration has diverted traffic and is monitoring nearby buildings. BJP district president Jasbir Dodwa described the rally as historic.
Modi previously held a rally in Kurukshetra on September 15 to kick off the BJP’s campaign, focusing on candidates in districts along the GT Road. Voting for Haryana’s 90-member Legislative Assembly will take place on October 5, with results announced on October 8.
