Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday expressed his gratitude to the people of Haryana for giving the BJP a majority in the state for the third consecutive term. He described this victory as a result of the party’s focus on development and good governance. Modi promised that the BJP will continue to work hard to meet the expectations of the people.
In several posts on X (formerly Twitter), Modi also praised the National Conference for its strong performance in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. He noted that these elections were significant because they were the first since the removal of Articles 370 and 35(A), and saw a high voter turnout, reflecting people’s faith in democracy. He thanked everyone in Jammu and Kashmir for their participation.
Modi expressed pride in the BJP’s performance in both Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir, where the party achieved its best-ever results. The BJP won 48 seats in Haryana and 29 seats in Jammu and Kashmir, both of which have 90-member assemblies. He thanked voters for their trust and praised the dedication of BJP workers for reaching out to the people with the party’s development agenda. He assured the people of Jammu and Kashmir that the BJP will continue to work for their welfare.
