The University of Delhi (DU) is set to release the upgraded seat allocations and the first round of allocations for performance-based programs, CW, ECA, sports, and ward quota seats today, September 3.
The upgrade window, which was open from August 31 to September 1, allowed candidates who were admitted in Round 1 and Round 2 to opt for an upgrade based on their higher preferences. During this period, these candidates could also reorder their preferred program and college combinations to reflect their updated choices.
Candidates who receive an upgraded seat today will find their new allocation activated for direct processing at the respective colleges. To finalize their admission to the upgraded seat, these candidates must pay any differential fees that apply. Admission will be considered complete only once the full admission fees are successfully processed.
Additionally, mid-entry vacant seats will be displayed on September 7, and candidates will have the opportunity to apply for these seats until September 9. Candidates who were rejected in Round 1 or Round 2 due to incorrect subject-mapping or non-fulfillment of program-specific eligibility criteria will be able to correct their subject-mapping and update their preferences during this period. Candidates who were not admitted to any program by the time of the mid-entry declaration will also have the opportunity to edit their preferences from September 7 (5 pm) to September 9 (4:59 pm).
