Haryana is preparing for its assembly elections on October 5, with today being the last day for campaigning. All political parties have released their manifestos, outlining key promises to attract voters. The elections have gained extra attention this year due to the recent Lok Sabha election results.
The BJP’s manifesto, called the “Sankalp Patra,” includes promises for jobs for ex-Agniveers and guarantees for minimum support prices (MSP). Meanwhile, the Congress party is offering free electricity, plans to restore the old pension scheme, and other initiatives.
With the polls approaching, voters will decide the fate of the 90-member state legislative assembly, with results set to be announced on October 8.
In related news, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) faced a setback when their candidate for Nilokheri, Amar Singh, switched to the Congress party ahead of the elections.
