PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has written a letter to Salman Khan, the host of “Bigg Boss 18,” asking him to stop the use of animals on the show. They are particularly concerned about a donkey that has been seen in the Bigg Boss house.
The letter, titled “Urgent Request to Keep Animals Out of Bigg Boss,” says that many people have complained about the donkey’s presence. PETA urges Salman, as a popular figure, to use his influence to encourage the show’s producers to avoid using animals for entertainment.
PETA believes that not using animals will prevent stress for them and upset for viewers, while also setting a good example. They suggested that Advocate Gunaratna Sadavarte, who brought the donkey into the house, should give it to PETA so it can be taken to a sanctuary.
The letter stressed that having an animal on a show set is serious. Donkeys can get scared by the lights and sounds typical of such environments, and it’s sad to see one kept in a small space.
PETA also mentioned that donkeys are social animals and do best in groups. They noted that Advocate Sadavarte claims to keep the donkey for research on milk, but PETA explained that donkeys only produce milk for their babies.
In conclusion, PETA urged Salman Khan to take action to show that “Bigg Boss” cares about treating animals with kindness and respect.
