The YouTube channel of the Supreme Court of India has reportedly been hacked and is now displaying videos related to the US-based company Ripple.
The hacked channel features multiple videos about cryptocurrency, including a live stream of a blank video titled “Brad Garlinghouse: Ripple Responds to the SEC’s $2 Billion Fine! XRP Price Prediction.”
Typically, this channel is used by the Supreme Court to live stream hearings on important public interest cases, a practice that started after a key ruling in 2018. Fortunately, there were no significant hearings scheduled for today.
Official sources have informed Bar & Bench that the Supreme Court’s administration is currently looking into the hacking incident. However, no official comments have been released yet.
