The trailer for the much-awaited film ‘Jigra’, directed by Vasan Bala, was released on Thursday, exciting fans everywhere. The movie stars Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, and revolves around a thrilling prison break, highlighting how far a sister will go to protect her brother.
Alia Bhatt shared the trailer launch on Instagram, saying, “All set? #JIGRA THEATRICAL TRAILER OUT NOW! See you in cinemas on October 11.” In the trailer, Alia plays the role of Satya, a devoted sister determined to save her brother, Ankur, played by Vedang Raina.
Throughout the trailer, Alia’s character shows great strength and determination. A memorable line from her character is, “Maine kabhi nhi kaha, main sahi insaan hu. Main sirf, Ankur ki behen hu,” which showcases her commitment to her brother. This film marks Vedang Raina’s second role after his debut in ‘The Archies’ last year. The teaser has received positive reactions from both critics and audiences, increasing excitement for its release.
‘Jigra’ features an engaging soundtrack, including the popular song ‘Chal Kudiye,’ which reunites Alia Bhatt with Diljit Dosanjh. The teaser also includes a revamped version of the classic song ‘Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka,’ highlighting Vedang Raina’s singing abilities.
